Refund Policy

At AMICO VINTAGE & ARCHIVE LUXURY, we sell vintage and pre-owned luxury items. Due to the unique nature of these items, please carefully review each product description, photos, measurements, condition details, condition rank, and included accessories before placing your order.

1. Nature of Vintage and Pre-Owned Items

All items sold by AMICO VINTAGE & ARCHIVE LUXURY are, in principle, one-of-a-kind vintage or pre-owned items.

Unlike brand-new products, vintage and pre-owned items may show signs of use, storage, and age, including but not limited to minor scratches, scuffs, wrinkles, discoloration, color variation, tarnishing of hardware, loss of shape, odors, and natural aging of materials.

Such characteristics are not considered defects when they are described on the product page or are reasonably expected for vintage or pre-owned items.

Please note that product colors may appear different depending on the photography environment, lighting, monitor settings, smartphone display, and other viewing conditions. Measurements are taken manually and may include slight variations.

2. Returns and Exchanges Due to Customer Preference

We do not accept returns or exchanges for customer preference reasons.

Examples of customer preference reasons include, but are not limited to:

  • The item looks different from what the customer expected.

  • The color, texture, atmosphere, or size impression is different from what the customer imagined.

  • The item does not fit, despite the measurements being listed on the product page.

  • The customer misunderstood the condition, where the condition was stated on the product page or is reasonably expected for a vintage or pre-owned item.

  • The customer ordered the wrong item, quantity, shipping address, or payment method.

  • The item has been used, worn, washed, repaired, altered, cleaned, or otherwise handled after delivery.

  • The return request is made after the period stated in this policy.

3. Returns or Refunds Due to Our Error

If any of the following applies, please contact us within 3 days, including the delivery date, with your order number, photos of the relevant area, and information showing the condition of the item.

We will review the details and determine whether a return or refund is applicable.

Returns or refunds may be accepted in the following cases:

  • You received an item different from the item you ordered.

  • The item has significant damage, staining, or defects that were not described on the product page.

  • A major accessory clearly stated on the product page is missing.

  • The actual item is materially different from the product description.

If a return is approved due to our error, we will cover the return shipping cost.

Refunds will be processed after the returned item arrives and we confirm its condition. Refunds will generally be issued through the original payment method. The time required for the refund to appear may vary depending on the credit card company, payment provider, or financial institution.

4. Conditions Where Returns Cannot Be Accepted

Even when the issue may appear to be related to our error, we may not be able to accept a return or refund in the following cases:

  • The item is returned without prior contact and approval from us.

  • The return request is made more than 3 days after the delivery date.

  • The item has been used, worn, washed, repaired, cleaned, altered, damaged, stained, or affected by odor transfer after delivery.

  • Product tags, boxes, dust bags, warranty cards, straps, or other included accessories are missing.

  • The item is damaged or stained during return shipping due to insufficient packaging or handling.

5. Return Procedure

If you wish to request a return, please contact us in advance. We will review your request and provide instructions regarding whether the return is accepted, the return address, and the return method.

Please return the item using a trackable shipping method within the period specified by us. After shipping the return, please provide us with the shipping carrier name and tracking number.

Return procedure:

  1. Contact us within 3 days, including the delivery date, with your order number and photos.

  2. We will review the details and provide return instructions if the return is approved.

  3. Return the item using a trackable shipping method.

  4. We will inspect the returned item after arrival.

  5. If the return conditions are met, we will process the refund.

6. Cancellations and Order Changes

Once an order has been placed, cancellations and order changes are generally not accepted.

However, if the order has not yet been shipped and we determine that we are able to accommodate the request, we may respond on a case-by-case basis.

For cancellations after shipment, changes to the delivery address, refused deliveries, or returns due to long-term absence, the customer may be responsible for return shipping fees, reshipping fees, handling fees, and any other costs incurred by us.
