Shipping Policy

At AMICO VINTAGE & ARCHIVE LUXURY, we have established the following shipping policy to ensure that your order is delivered safely.

1. Shipping Time

Orders are usually shipped within 2 business days after payment confirmation.

However, shipping may be delayed due to order verification, identity verification, fraud prevention checks, product inspection, weather conditions, traffic conditions, company holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, carrier circumstances, or other unavoidable reasons.

For bank transfer payments, we will begin preparing the shipment after confirming receipt of payment. If payment is not confirmed within 5 days, including the order date, the order may be canceled.

For pre-order items, special-order items, event-sale items, or other items that require more time before shipment, the estimated shipping time stated on the product page or checkout page will apply.

2. Shipping Methods

Domestic orders are shipped using a trackable shipping method. The shipping carrier will be selected by AMICO VINTAGE & ARCHIVE LUXURY based on the item value, size, destination, shipping timing, and other relevant factors.

In principle, customers cannot choose the shipping carrier.

Shipping methods may include:

  • Domestic shipping: Yamato Transport or Japan Post

  • International shipping: DHL, FedEx, or EMS

  • Tracking number: Provided by email or through the customer account page after shipment

  • Delivery date and time requests: Availability may vary depending on the carrier and destination area

3. Shipping Fees

Shipping is free for both domestic and international orders.

Even when multiple items are ordered at the same time, items may be shipped separately depending on item size, storage location, and shipping conditions.

For international orders, VAT, customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees, local taxes, and any other charges imposed by the destination country or region are not included in the shipping fee and are the responsibility of the customer.

Shipping fee details:

  • Domestic shipping: Free

  • Remote islands and certain areas in Japan: Generally free. If delivery is unavailable or special delivery conditions apply, we will inform you individually before or after your order.

  • International shipping: Free

  • VAT, customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees, and related charges: Customer responsibility

4. International Shipping, Customs Duties, and Import Taxes

International shipping is available only to countries and regions that are shown as available shipping destinations by AMICO VINTAGE & ARCHIVE LUXURY.

For international orders, customs duties, import taxes, VAT, customs clearance fees, local consumption taxes, and any other related charges imposed by the destination country or region are generally the responsibility of the customer.

These charges vary depending on the laws and regulations of the destination country or region, the item material, item value, intended use, and other factors. Therefore, we cannot confirm the exact amount in advance.

If an item is returned to us due to customs delays, unpaid VAT, unpaid customs duties, unpaid import taxes, unpaid customs clearance fees, import restrictions in the destination country or region, refusal to receive the package, or similar reasons, the customer may be responsible for return shipping fees, customs-related costs, storage fees, return handling fees, and any other costs incurred by us.

5. Incorrect Shipping Information, Long-Term Absence, and Refused Delivery

If the address, name, phone number, email address, or other shipping information entered by the customer is incorrect, the item may not be delivered.

If an item is returned to us due to incorrect shipping information, long-term absence, refusal to receive the package, relocation, expiration of the carrier’s storage period, or similar reasons, the customer may be responsible for reshipping fees, return shipping fees, handling fees, and other related costs.

For high-value items, for security and delivery accuracy reasons, we may refuse to ship to certain destinations, including but not limited to carrier office pickup locations, hotels, accommodation facilities, forwarding companies, P.O. boxes, or other temporary addresses or addresses where identity verification may be difficult.

6. Damage or Loss During Shipping

If the package arrives with visible damage, signs of opening, water damage, or any condition suggesting a shipping accident, please do not use the item. Please contact both AMICO VINTAGE & ARCHIVE LUXURY and the shipping carrier within 3 days, including the delivery date.

We may ask you to provide photos of the outer box, packaging materials, item, and shipping label in order to confirm the condition.

We may not be responsible for loss or theft caused by circumstances such as expiration of the carrier’s storage period, delivery to a designated unattended location, delivery to a parcel locker, forwarding instructions, waiver of signature at the recipient’s request, or similar delivery arrangements.

7. Shipping Delays or Delivery Failure

Shipping or delivery may be delayed or become impossible due to natural disasters, infectious diseases, war, riots, terrorism, strikes, government actions, transportation disruptions, system failures, carrier circumstances, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

In such cases, we will check the situation as soon as possible and provide information to the customer to the extent reasonably possible.
